General Contractor in Pennsylvania

T.Z. Contractor INC. serves Pennsylvania homeowners, landlords and businesses, with most of our work in the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh areas. Pennsylvania's cold winters, heavy rain and older housing make roofing and paving the most common projects we take on here.

• Driveway paving, asphalt repair and parking lot paving.
• Kitchen, bathroom and basement projects.
• Commercial construction and renovations.

Contractor Registration in Pennsylvania

Under Pennsylvania's Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act, most home improvement contractors must register with the Pennsylvania Attorney General and show their registration number on contracts and advertising. Building permits follow the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code and are issued by your municipality. Philadelphia and Pittsburgh also have their own city licensing and permit offices. Read our guide to permits and contractor licenses in NJ, NY and PA.

Built for Pennsylvania Winters

Repeated freezing and thawing is the main enemy of Pennsylvania driveways and roofs. Water gets into small cracks, freezes, expands and breaks the surface apart. On roofs, ice dams form along the eaves and push water under the shingles. We install ice-and-water barrier at roof edges and build driveways on a properly compacted base with good drainage.

Can you fix ice dam damage?

Yes. We repair the roof and interior damage and add protection so it is less likely to happen again.
